I think the coolest thing in fashion other than magazine and catwalk trends is that you can take what you like from each trend and create a unique style based on your personality. It took me a while to learn this, but today I feel much better with the image. And who knows that I am in love with the retro style, especially the 50s. My favorite series is BRIDGAT, largely because of the costume, and all that surrounds this time enchants me in a way! 50s style not only fantasize me on a daily basis because my passion is not ridiculous, but of course I end up incorporating some elements such as accessories, clothing, shoes and stuff. And the piece today, pleated skirts, no doubt is one of my favorite inspirations of the 50s!
With an air totally 50s, pleated skirts are back to the head and win the romantic and delicate girls. There pleated skirts in mini, medium length, midi and long, with slits, fluid fabrics and various colors. Just be careful to balance the outfit, opt for sweaters more “dry” because the skirt already increases the volume of the hips. For those who have wide hips, the tip is to bet on pleats less marked, so it does not extend only in the area of the hips and give a strange look to exit.
