The Proof That It Is Possible to Dress Well While Spending Little

Last week I posted here in the Channel, the Male, within our session “Look Right”, a photo (above) that featured the combination of a blazer wool gray, a blouse of knit black hooded t-shirt and also black with a skull and stylized. Accompanying it was a black jeans, faded and worn.

The Proof That It Is Possible to Dress Well While Spending Little

When you preach this kind of post in Facebook always appears someone to say that it is easy to dress well, provided that you have a lot of money to spend. Needless to say that this statement goes completely against what we preach here, and despite always showing brands the top, many of them very expensive, we are keen to stress that this is a reference to those who do not have sufficient purchasing power (the majority of mortals) they seek something so beautiful and stylish, but that it fits in your pocket. With the stores of the fast fashion of today this kind of thing is not no impossible mission, quite the contrary.

Well, based on the “Look Right” in the last week I have assembled a visual similar using only the pieces found in my wardrobe, added to a belt and leather shoes (that did not appear in the original photo, arriving at the value of R$466,00 to achieve this result:

That is, I spent less than $ 500 to assemble a complete look, very close to the example that I gave last week, except for the detail of the hood of the knitting. It is good to remember that the idea of the “Look Right” is not copy, is to use the style information found in a combo to inspire new ideas, but in this case I saw it as a challenge and tried to find the pieces with the greatest similarity possible, without neglecting the quality of the parts.

Below relate to all of the clothes used and their values when they were purchased:

  • Blazer wool herringbone for R$99,00in the liquidation of the Riachuelo;
  • Blouse wool zipper double for R$89,00at the Outlet of the Vivleroá;
  • T-shirt skull for $40.00in the liquidation of the Club Laundry;
  • Jeans by R$84,00in the liquidation of the Vans;
  • Leather belt with studs by R$69,00in the bazaar of the Forum;
  • Tennis shoes John Varvatos for All Starby R$85,00 on the tip of the stock of the Mandi.

Total: R$466,00 – average per piece:$77,66

As you can see, all the parts were obtained at sales, bazaars or outlets, otherwise the result of the account would easily more than a thousand real.

Know when to buy, not to give in to the impulse to the consumerist and search for rates may be the key to dressing well and with quality products without clearing the current account, or hanging the credit card. There are many opportunities such as these above, but to take advantage of them you need to be willing to fossick, an effort that I guarantee to be worthwhile, both from the point of view visual, as the financial!
